Jackalmen

"A strange merging of human and jackal blood, the jackalmen are bloodthirsty and ruthless. Sometimes joining up with desert bandits who value their battle prowess and bloodlust, more often they are found in abandoned desert temples or forgotten palace ruins. They wield great scimitars with which they like to wade into battle causing as much carnage as possible. When having found a mate they become a bit less bloodthirsty, but at the same time fiercely protective of their young cubs. Adventurers are advised to approach them with the greatest caution."
